NHPTV invites you or your organization to become part of our volunteer force. We can use your skills and interests whether you have an evening, a morning, or lots of free time.  

Volunteer support is critical to the success of New Hampshire Public Television. We rely on our volunteers at events throughout the year and also in our day-to-day business activities. You are cordially invited to add your name to the growing roster of NHPTV volunteers.

Upcoming NHPTV Volunteer Opportunities

NHPTV welcomes enthusiastic and energetic people (16 and older). Special skills are not required (but they are appreciated) and training is provided. 

Spring Auction (May 2 - 11)         
Once each year an army of volunteers mobilizes to produce live, televised auctions that account for eight percent of NHPTV's annual revenue. OK, so how many volunteers are in this army? Answer: 1,000!

What kind of work do volunteers do? Auction volunteers can choose from a wide range of jobs. You can  pick an activity that matches your interests, taps your skills and is compatible with the time you can commit.

Some volunteers start to work months in advance; others jump in at the last minute as we're gearing up for opening night.

Ongoing NHPTV Volunteer Opportunities

We also have volunteers who return year after year to assist with daily operations at the NHPTV Broadcast Center. Some of these volunteer opportunities include: mailing videos, administrative assistance and helping at special events.
